Summary Government believes in taking all political parties on board, said Ishaq Dar
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and American ambassador Richard Olson agreed to restore Pak-US Economic Advisory Group. Pakistan will host the conference of Pak-US Economic Advisory Group while America will hold the inauguration ceremony of trade and investment framework agreement, reported Dunya News.
Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar met with American ambassador to Pakistan in Islamabad where they exchanged views on hosting a conference of Pak US Economic Advisory Group and inauguration of trade and investment framework agreement.
Both sides have agreed that the schedule for both events will be finalized after consultation.
Ishaq Dar informed the American delegation on the debate of parliament on the budget of current fiscal year.
He said that positive suggestions by the parliamentarians have been incorporated in the budget adding that the government believes in taking all political parties on board.
Secretary Finance Doctor Waqar Masood, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary and economic counselor from American embassy also took part in the meeting.
