Minister for Anti-Corruption Manzoor Wassan warned the anti-corruption officers against extortion
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Minister for Anti-Corruption Sindh Manzoor wassan has on Friday warned anti-corruption officers against extortion, saying that the officers involved in extortion must mend their ways, reported Dunya News.
According to details, Manzoor Wassan conducted a meeting of anti-corruption officers and announced to wage war against corruption. Wassan not only gave directions to the officers but also issued them the warning. “Stop troubling the common people. We are receiving complaints against officials. Officers involved in extortion must mend their ways”, he said.
Directing the officers to expedite the action against the corrupt, Manzoor Wassan also said that the corruption cases must be taken to their logical end. He said that nobody will be able to interfere in anti-corruption business if the anti-corruption officers do their job properly.
