LHC stops NAB from taking action against Sharif brothers
The Lahore High Court (LHC) has barred the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from taking any action against the Sharif brothers.The two member bench of LHC comprising of Justice Ijazul Hasan and Justice Mamun Rashid heard the proceedings of the case. Sharif brothers lawyer Shahid Hamid in his appeal states that Suprme Court acquitted the Sharif brothers from cases in the accountability court and terrorism court in Karachi. He requested the court to bar NAB from taking any step until the verdict of the appeals is finalized.The Court demanded for the submission of NAB's reply in two weeks.
