Islamabad divided into 79 UCs, elections to be held on July 25

ECP has issued the details according to which each UC will comprise 13 members

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued the details of the Islamabad local body elections on Friday according to which the capital city has been divided into 79 Union Councils (UC) and each will comprise of 13 members. Elections are going to be held on July 25th, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, chairman and vice chairman will be elected in the election while Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation will also be in place.

ECP says that the total number of voters in Islamabad is 620,165 out of which 334,577 are men while 285,588 are women.
