LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) sought reply from provincial and federal government regarding registration fee on automobiles on Friday, reported Dunya News.

Lawyer of petitioner, Azhar Sadiq, argued in front of court that the registration fee should be taken separately from the price of automobiles.

Arguing against the practice of Excise department of obtaining thousands of rupees for registration fee, the lawyer said that such practices causes inconvenience for citizens adding that such practices should be banned.

The court sought reply from provincial and federal government on June 18 regarding the issue.
