KARACHI (Dunya News) – A 4-year-old boy, Adnan, was tortured to death while 13-year-old sibling was left in critical condition in Korangi area after brutal torture by stepfather on Tuesday. The step father used hammer, hunter and steel pipe to beat the child to death, reported Dunya News.
Police has taken the mother of the children in custody and started investigations.
4-year-old Adnan and 13-year-old Kamran were subjected to brutal torture by step father, Amir, as the children were beaten mercilessly with hunter, steel pipe and hunter. The father escaped soon afterwards, it is learnt.
Iqra, sister of the beaten siblings, said that father used to thrash children at the mere drop of hat.
Mother of children, Afsheen, said that she tried to stop the thrashing but that did not deter him. Her husband also targeted her, she added.
According to police officials, the father will be arrested soon while the mother has already been taken into custody for investigation.
