CM Balochistan took notice and summoned report of the incident

QUETTA (Dunya News) – The terrorists targeted Quetta once again on Sunday as indiscriminate firing at shops left five people dead and several wounded, Dunya News reported.

According to details, armed men who came riding motorcycles opened indiscriminate firing at shops at Circular Road at Meezan Chowk area.

Reportedly, those killed include a father and son. The shopkeepers and traders shut down businesses to protest against the terrorist attack.

Meanwhile, the police have installed check-posts across the city and started checking pillion riders and suspects.

Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Malik Baloch took the notice of the incident and summoned report.

The spokesman of the provincial government Jan Buledi said that the recent incidents of targeted killing in the province are an attempt to harm the law and order situation.

He said all resources will be utilized to stop terrorism and that the local administrations will be responsible for their respective areas.

Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, while condemning the terrorist attack in Quetta, demanded a Zarb-e-Azb style operation against the terrorists in the province so that terrorism can be rooted out.
