Karachi: MQM protest against water shortage in Liaqatabad

Karachi is the capital of Sindh but it is victim of discrimination, no water for Karachi: MQM
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) protested against water shortage in Karachi on Friday in Liaqatabad area. Rabita Committee members and a big number of female MQM workers participated in the protest. MQM leaders said that Karachi is the capital of Sindh but it is victim of discriminations and there is no water for Karachi.
The protestors said that water shortage can create threats to law and order in the city. The leaders said that the projects worth billions are going on in the whole country with the money earned from Karachi but citizens of Karachi do not have the basic facility like water. The demanded the government to provide electricity, water and employment to the residents of Karachi. The protestors demanded the rulers to fight hydrant mafia and end the artificial crises of water from the city.
