Belarus president arrives on first Pakistan visit

Belarus had established its diplomatic mission in Pakistan in November last year
ISLAMABAD (Daily Dunya) – Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko arrived on two-day official visit on Thursday upon President Mamnoon Hussain’s invitation. The honourable guest was welcomed by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
According to Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson, this is the first visit by Belarusian president to Pakistan and key Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) related to agricultural machinery, tractor manufacturing factories, milk production and livestock will be signed during the visit.
FO spokesman Qazi Khalilullah said that President Lukashenko’s visit will strengthen ties between both countries.
Belarus had established its diplomatic mission in Pakistan in November last year.
