Punjab government has demoted SSP Operations Chaudhry Muhammad Shafiq to the rank of OSD following the Data Darbar incident.According to a notification issued by the provincial government, CPO Faisalabad will substitute Chaudhry Sahifq.According to sources, a high-level meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif reviewed the law and order situation prevailing in the province. The members of the meeting criticized the performance of the Punjab Police.
