LAHORE (Web Desk) – The Times of India has stated that India’s most wanted criminal Dawood Ibrahim is in Pakistan under the patronage of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) after Indian agencies traced as many as three calls around four months back.

The calls were allegedly made from Pakistan to Dubai where the outlaw talked to his associate Javed who handles his businesses in India and Dubai mostly.

Earlier, Pakistani ambassador in India Abdul Basit assured in a statement that Dawood was not in Pakistan.

The underworld don was heard talking to another associate Tariq a few months before the three calls were traced. The Times of India stated that Javed mainly handles Ibrahim’s business interests in match fixing and betting, narcotics, real estate, extortion and other crimes. However, not much is known about Tariq contrary to his other associate Javed.

Home minister Rajnath Singh recently said in a statement that the authorities have credible information about Ibrahim’s presence in Pakistan. He said that Ibrahim would be brought to India. At the time Singh’s statement was said to be ‘far-fetched’ but nobody will see it like that at least now.
