MQM protests outside Power House Chowrangi over water shortage
MQM leaders demanded formation of new projects for effective water supply
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Friday protested outside Power House Chowrangi against water shortage in the largest metropolitan.
A large number of MQM’s lawmakers, members, workers and citizens participated in the demonstration.
MQM leaders said that the water crisis occurred due to ‘unjust’ distribution of water by the government.
They demanded formation of new projects for water supply and to rid the citizens of ‘hydrant mafia’.
