The move from provincial government is in the aftermath of terrorist attack in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali has been reinstated after being removed from his post in the aftermath of the terrorist attack at Safoora Chowk area in Karachi that left forty four people of the Ismaili community dead and scores injured.

According to details, the provincial government had removed the IG after taking notice of the deadly attack in Karachi. However, the government reversed the removal order and restored the Jamali.

The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Station House Officer (SHO) have been removed. Sources said other police personnel are also likely to be removed from their posts.
