Operation against dacoits underway from 36 hours in Mailsi
Dacoits are 5 in number while police of 4 districts are present to arrest them
MAILSI (Dunya News) – the encounter between dacoits and police is ongoing after 36 hours in CHAK 113 WB area of Mailsi. Dacoits killed a policeman and a sleuth after which police surrounded the criminals who are still hiding in a corn field. Dacoits are 5 in number while the police of 4 districts are present to arrest them. No fire has been shot from the dacoits after 12am.
Policemen left their positions as the rain started while their mobile vans are also not in a condition to start without push. Police asked media and local people to stay away from the crime scene at 10am. Media was told that police helicopter was to arrive and operation will be started immediately while no such thing happened until RPO Multan Amjad Javed Salimi reached there at 3 pm. RPO asked the people to stay farther away but no progress is seen even after that.
