Nepalese Ambassador in Pakistan has also rejected India’s propaganda.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry on Sunday stated that some peace haters in India are busy in propagating in Nepal earthquake whereas Pakistan won’t stop to assist its neighboring country.

While addressing a joint press conference with Nepal’s Ambassador to Pakistan and India Raj Paudyal and Chairman National Disaster Management Authority, Major General Asghar Nawaz in Islamabad, Foreign Secretary said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has formed a team to monitor the relief activities of quake affectees in Nepal.

He revealed that Pakistanis are continuously sending aid for their Nepalese brother and claimed that Pakistan has immediately responded to the call of Nepal government on the directives of PM Nawaz.

Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry affirmed that initial relief items including tents, medicines, food items, 30-bed mobile hospital and other domestic goods have already been dispatched to Kathmandu through six C-130 aircrafts.

He further lauded the efforts of Pakistan Army in holding all the relief process.

On the other hand, Nepalese Ambassador to Pakistan thanked the government for their sincere support in this difficult time and said that Pakistan has always helped Nepal.

He said that 35 thirty five districts of Nepal have badly been affected by 7.9 magnitude earthquake, whereas over six thousand people have lost their lives and left fourteen thousand injured.

The Ambassador further pleaded for more help as three hundred fifty thousand people are still looking for help in Nepal.
Pakistan’s rescue teams are ardently working in the most affected areas of Nepal, he added.

Meanwhile, Nepalese Ambassador in Pakistan has also rejected India’s propaganda.
