Nine killed, 30 injured as bus collides with power cables in Dadu

The injured are facing difficulties in treatment due to inadequate health facilities.

DADU (Dunya News) – At least nine people including children got killed and 30 sustained injuries when a bus carrying wedding guests collided with high-voltage power cables and caught fire today (Sunday) at Khairpur Nathan Shah bypass in Dadu, Dunya News reported.

According to details, the critically injured were shifted to Dadu and Chandka medical hospital Larkana by the residents among which one succumbed to injuries and passed away whereas rest of them are under-treatment in district Khairpur Nathan Shah Hospital (KNSH) hospital and are said to be in critical condition.

Moreover, the injured are facing difficulties in treatment due to inadequate health facilities with no burn units and emergency doctors today.

President Mamnoon Hussain and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain have expressed grief and sorrow over the incident and conveyed message of condolence and sympathies to the deceased families.
