ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday has reserved its verdict on traders  petition for a stay order which was  filed against the decision of government to close shops by 8:00pm, Dunya News reported.

According to details, the verdict is likely to be announced at 11 p.m. today.

The hearing was conducted by Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddique during which the petitioner adopted the stance that Islamabad authorities do not possess any official notification of government’s order as to which it cannot close the shops on the basis of verbal orders.

The petitioner also stated that this step of administration is a criminal offense and is synonym of forcefully entering into someone else’s property therefore; the order should be declared null and void whereas a stay order should also be issued in this regard.

The court reserved its verdict after the conclusion of the arguments.
