Aslam married widow Razia Bibi through court, couple was hiding for 2 years because of death threats

MUZAFFARGARH (Dunya News) – Panchayat (council of elders) ask a man on Tuesday to Vani his two daughters for marrying a widow in Muzaffargarh. Resident of Motanwala village of tehsil Ali Pur, Muhammad Aslam married a widow Razia Bibi through court. The couple was hiding for two years because of death threats by the family.

As Aslam and Razia came back to their village, the Panchayat, chaired by a former councilor Abdul Hameed and Bakht Ali, ordered the man to vani his two daughters, 7-year-old Samina and 6-year-old Iqra from his previous marriage. Panchayat asked the father to hand over his two daughters to Abdul Aziz and Muhammad Hanif.

Aslam, Razia and residents of the area have requested Chief Minister (CM) Paunjab Shahbaz Sharif to take notice of the incident.
