ECC approves to pay Steel Mills employees salaries
Committee announces to import 1 lac ton of urea for winter season crops
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Cabinet’s Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) have approved on Thursday to issue 2 months’ salaries of steel mills employees. ECC meeting was held in Islamabad chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
1 billion rupees will be issued to pay the salaries of employees. Committee also announced to import 1 lac ton of urea for winter season crops and to export wheat on government level. KASA 1000 project’s Power Purchase Agreement was also approved in the meeting while the final approval will be given by CDWP.
ECC also made a committee to work on Ramzan Package. Officials of Interior ministry, National Food Security and Business ministry will be the part of committee. Managing Director of Utility Stores will also get representation in the committee while Ramzan Package’s approval will be given in the next meeting.
