Multan Cantt election: PML-N, PTI candidates win unopposed

MULTAN (Dunya News) – As many as two candidates in the Multan Cantonment Board election on Thursday have won unopposed. The election preparations in the remaining eight wards have been completed.

In a total of ten wards of the Multan Cantt, at least two candidates, one of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and other of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have won unopposed. While at least 26 candidates are contesting the election in remaining eight wards.

The candidates have paced up their elections campaigns. The total number of registered voters in the remaining wards is at least 12,252.

The polling is scheduled to be held on April 25 which will continue until 5 pm from 8 am.
