Pakistan welcomes Saudi's move to end military operation in Yemen

The FO assured of every possible support of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan on Wednesday welcomed the move of Saudi Arabia to end four weeks of air strikes in Yemen and solve the matter through political means, Dunya News reported.

Foreign Office spokeswoman Tasnim Aslam while welcoming the decision assured of every possible support to Saudi Arabia from Pakistan.

She further stated that the end of military operation in Yemen will pave way for a political solution of the conflict.

FO spokeswoman also admired Saudi Arabia’s desire of a peaceful settlement of the crisis and said that Pakistan stand with Saudi Arabia’s decision.

Moreover, she also welcomed the stance to initiate rehabilitation operation in Yemen.

A Saudi-led coalition declared an end  to four weeks of air strikes in Yemen a day before, saying it had eliminated the threat posed by Iran-backed rebels, as Washington welcomed the move and urged talks to end the crisis.
