Problems cannot be resolved with push of a button, he said

LONDON (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar on Wednesday ‘solemnly’ said that no rigging took place in the general election 2013, adding that the present government did not come in power through some plan.

Talking on the occasion of an event held at Pakistan High Commission in London, Dar said that the formation of judicial commission to probe alleged election rigging has been completed and that it will begin its task from tomorrow (Thursday).

He said it isn’t necessary that the judicial commission will complete its investigation in 45 days. Ishaq Dar said that foreign investors are taking interest in investing in Pakistan, adding that Nawaz government’s steps after coming into power after 2013 election have given a boost to the country’s foreign reserves. He said foreign investment in Pakistan is also increasing day by day.

Earlier, the federal minister said that the present government inherited economically crippled Pakistan but the improved economic policies have resulted in increased foreign investment in the country.

He said Pakistan has problems but no solution is swift enough to resolve all the problems with the push of a button.
