MARDAN (Dunya News) -- Former federal minister, senator Azam Hoti died after long illness in Peshawar on Wednesday. He was buried in Hoti House Mardan.

Azam Hoti was suffering from throat and respiratory problems since long and he was getting treated at a hospital in Peshawar. Azam Hoti was buried next to his mother in Hoti House Mardan.

Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani, Asfandyar Wali, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Sardar Mehtab, Raja Zafarul Haq, Ameer Haider Hoti and many other political and religious personalities gathered for his funeral prayers.

Azam Hoti had served twice as Federal Minister of Communication in Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N)’s governments.
