Fake degree: SC seeks PPP Amir Rawals degrees record

Supreme Court sought record of a PPP MNA Amir Yar Rawals degrees from Bahawalpur and Balochistan University on July 2. A three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, heard the case. PML-Qs Mian Najibud Din Owais filed a petition against Amir, contending that Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai University notified Amirs degree as bogus. Afterwards, he made another person to take BA exam through Bahawalpur University, however, he was caught and noted ineligible for three years. In the meanwhile, he managed to get a degree from Balochistan University. Justice Khalilur Rehman Ramday questioned that does the law allow a person who is a fraud to sit in parliament and decide upon peoples fates?The court sought record of Amirs degrees from both of the universities on July 2. It merits to mention that Amir Yar Rawal won the seat NA-184.
