LPG prices fall as temperatures rise in Pakistan

LPG prices fell by Rs. 10 bringing domestic cylinder price to Rs. 115, commercial to Rs. 460
LAHORE: (Daily Dunya) – Prices of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) on Sunday fell by Rs. 10 per kilogram in Lahore, bringing down the price of domestic cylinder by Rs. 115 per cylinder and commercial price by Rs. 460 per cylinder, reported Daily Dunya.
According to LPG Distributors Association, LPG producers reduced the prices dramatically by Rs. 9400 per ton. The current price of LPG by the producers is Rs. 61,100.
Chairman of the association Irfan Khokhar has said that the government gave a big relief to the public by bringing the prices down. He said that LPG was the cheapest fuel right now. He advised the government to promote LPG in the auto sector. He pressed OGRA to ensure implementation of these prices.
After this decrease in prices, the price of LPG in Hyderabad and Karachi is Rs. 80 per kg while in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Sheikhupura, Kasoor, Gujrat, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sukkur, Mirpur, Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Peshawar, Kohat and Bannu to Rs. 85 per kg bringing price of domestic cylinder to Rs. 995. In Murree, Nathyagali, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Azad Kashmir and FATA, the price of LPG is Rs. 90 per kg bringing down the price of domestic cylinder to Rs. 1015.
