Flood in Nala Lang, child dies as car washes away

In Shahab Khel area of Peshawar, 2 houses collapsed due to flood in drain as well
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Floods in Nala Lang, located near area of Rawat, caused a car to wash away with water currents, drowning a child on Monday. Four other persons who were washed away with currents were safely rescued, reported Dunya News.
In Shahab Khel area of Peshawar, 2 houses collapsed due to flood in drain as well.
Residence of Rawat, Sajid along with his family was on way to Meina Thop when his car got out of control due to flood while passing a bridge over Nala Lang.
The driver Talat Mehmood got out of vehicle while 5 persons, including 4 women, were rescued by rescue personnel but a 10-year-old child Wasi Rehman got drowned by the currents.
The flood has also ruined the only well in the area from which drinking water can be obtained and the populace is facing problems with drinking clean water.
