Layyah: Suffocation due to generator's exhaust claims three lives
The family members fired up a generator inside the room due to electricity outage and slept
LAYYAH (Dunya News) – At least three members of a family have been killed in Chak-369 TDA due to accumulation of generator’s exhaust leading to suffocation in a room.
According to the details, a family had returned home after their son, Arshad’s marriage when due to electricity outage and continuous rain they fired up a generator inside the room and slept. Arshad’s father, Shamshad Ali, brother Babar Ali and brother-in-law Muhammad Ramzan died due to suffocation in the room.
The medical staff of the Tehsil Hospital Chowk Azam pronounced all three dead and handed the bodies to the family.
The police have completed the legal procedure after terming the incident, an accident.
