Talking about the situation, Chief Meteorologist in Karachi, Mohammad Riaz said that if a tropical cyclone is formed in the Arabian Sea, it could have equal chances of landfall in the coastal areas of Pakistan or India. In either case, the resultant meteorological changes would bring gusty winds and rains in Karachi, he said. Section 144 CrPC banning bathing / swiming in the Sea in the entire length coast line has been imposed. The cyclone may hit Thatta and Badin districts.
