Seven killed as building collapsed during heavy rain
At least 7 people were killed when a two-storey building collapsed in Wah Cantt due to heavy rain.
WAH CANTT (Dunya News) – According to details, a two-storey building collapsed during heavy rain in Wah Cantt near Rawalpindi on Monday, killing seven people and injuring five others.
Heavy rain caused delay in arrival of rescue teams at the spot. According to sources, Army, police and TMA teams participated in rescue operation and recovered seven dead bodies and five injured from under the debris.
The rescue operation lasted for nine hours. District Emergency Officer, Dr Ishfaq confirmed the seven people died in the incident while five sustained injuries. The dead and injured were shifted to Wah Cantt hospital.
