The water level has been increased in the Attabad lake while the outflow of water from the spillway is around 900 cusecs amid fast occurring erosion. The inflow of water in the lake is around 3,500 cusecs while outflow is 900 cusecs. The spillway erosion has been increase by 30 percent. Experts and geologists said that the breach would take time to appear in the spillway; however the water pressure has been increased owing to the heat wave. The spillway is getting weak due to erosion and the next 48 hours are very critical in this regard.
