HEC announces action against forged degree holders
HEC receives at least 300 forged documents for verification per day
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced to take action against holders of forged educational documents and degrees. It has written to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in this regard, Dunya News reported.
According to HEC sources, action will be taken against such politicians, government officials and citizens who present forged documents for any purpose. FIA and law enforcement institutions will assist HEC in this regard.
HEC further added that it receives as many as 600 degrees a day for verification purposes and half of those are forged.
