Two killed in Vehari van-truck collision
The police reached the scene and registered the case against the van driver.
VEHARI (Dunya News) – At least two people were killed and two sustained injuries by van-truck collision due to heavy fog at Multan Road near Adda Kandor in Vehari, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
According to sources, the loader pick-up van was on way to Thengi when it tried to overtake a cart and ran into a coming truck due to dense fog.
The accident claimed lives of 27-year-old Muhammad Ramzan and 20-year-old Muhammad Rizwan whereas the injured passengers of the truck, Riaz Khan and Obaidullah, were given medical assistance by Rescue 1122.
Moreover, residents of the area protested against the bus driver and blocked the Multan Vehari road for traffic.
Furthermore, the police reached the scene and registered the case against the van driver.
