Entire market caught fire immediately; naturally, fire doesn't spread so rapidly, says MQM chief
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has demanded investigation of the Timber Market incident. He said that the entire market caught fire almost immediately while fire cannot spread so quickly under natural circumstances.
In his telephonic address to the ceremony of relief cheques distribution of Bahria Town on Friday in Karachi, Altaf Hussain said that it was still undecided whether the Timber Market incident was an accident or a conspiracy. Altaf said that Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah should have got the investigations completed.
“It seems Timber Market was set on fire after spraying chemical”, said Altaf.
Altaf thanked Chairman Bahria Town Malik Riaz for distributing relief cheques among victims of Timber Market incident. He said that he was unable to serve the people because of being in exile. He asked the people to pray for his return.
