Senate elections: Parliamentary Board's meeting underway
Interviews of the candidates would also be taken place during the meeting.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A meeting of Parliamentary Board is underway in Islamabad to finalise the names of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidates for Senate elections, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
Chairman Raja Zafar-ul-Haq is chairing the meeting whereas other PML-N leaders including Sabir Shah, Perveiz Rasheed, Sana Ullah Zehri, Ismail Raho, Dr, Asif Karmani and Senator Nuzhat Amir are also present in the meeting.
The interviews of candidates for Senate elections would be taken place following to which, 16 candidates from federation, 10 from khyber pakhtunkhwa (KP) and 34 from Balochistan will be interviewed.
Moreover, Parliamentary Board would also hold interviews of 5 candidates from Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA).
