Raheem Kakar accused that opposition counselors were being bought.

QUETTA (Dunya news) – Pakistan Muslim League’s (PML-N) provincial leader and All Parties Democratic Alliance’s candidate Raheem Kakar on Tuesday announced the boycott of local elections. The local elections are to be held for Mayorship of Quetta on Wednesday Jan 28th. Kakar stated that it was better to commit suicide rather than to remain part of PML-N.

He expressed these views during a press conference.

According to the details, former city Mayor Raheem Kakar not only declared Balochistan’s local elections as non-transparent but also criticized the party’s central leadership. He stated that PML-N’s General Secretary for Balochistan Naseebullah Bazai is pressurizing him to withdraw his nomination for Mayorship in support of Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party’s (PMAP) candidate.

He said that he was also threatened by PML-N’s General Secretary that if he did not agree to the decision Khawaja Saad Rafique would dismiss him from his post.
