Karachi: MQM worker shot dead in Orangi Town

Unknown armed suspects opened fire on MQM worker Waseem in Orangi Town No. 4 area.
KARACHI (Web Desk) – A Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker was gunned down in Orangi Town area of the metropolis on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
As per details, unknown armed suspects opened fire on MQM worker Waseem in Orangi Town No. 4 area. He was shifted to hospital but could not survive.
Meanwhile, MQM Coordination Committee condemned the incident demanded from the authorities to take stern action against the culprits.
Karachi, a city and port of more than 18 million people, is home to many armed groups. Many political parties there have armed wings to fight turf wars.
The city typically sees about a dozen murders a day, a combination of political killings, attacks by the Taliban and sectarian militant groups, and street crime.
