Five injured in Nowshera mosque blast
Two severely injured have been admitted to the Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar.
NOWSHERA (Dunya News) – Gas leakage explosion at the mosque in Qamar Khel, area of Nowshera on Wednesday injured at least five worshippers including the Imam.
According to Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), blast occurred due to a gas leakage from a plastic pipe and caused a partial damage to the mosque whereas as many as five people sustained injuries.
The residents shifted the injured to the hospital and controlled the fire under self help, however, according to the rescue officials, two severely injured people have been admitted to the Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar.
Moreover, Senior House Officer (SHO) Azakhail Jail stated that the explosion took place 10 minutes before the Fajar prayer.
