NCC training would be given in the educational institutions, says Mashood

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Minister for Education Rana Mashood on Saturday has said that the schools would open in Punjab on January 12. He said that the schools that do not complete security arrangements would be taken action against.

He expressed these views in a press briefing.

He said that the National Cadets Corps (NCC) training would be given in the educational institutions. The process of lifting the walls of the school higher for security reasons is underway, he added. Minister for Education said that Pakistan is in a state of war.

He said that the protection of the properties and lives of the people would be ensured. Action would be taken against the owners of schools who do not implement security instruction, he added. The minister said that the District Coordination Officers (DCOs) concerned would monitor the situation of the schools on daily basis.
