Politicians react to Imran Khan's wedding

Imran Khan married Reham Khan in a simple ceremony at his Bani Gala residence on Thursday.
ISLAMABAD / Multan (Web Desk) – Keeping order of the day aside, the National Assembly session resumed with some interesting exchange of words over opposition party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s wedding.
MNA Rana Tanvir told NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq that Imran Khan is his ‘friend’ therefore he should give treat to the parliamentarians on this joyous occasion.
Speaker Ayaz Sadiq replied “Imran Khan did second marriage and I should give treat?”
Meanwhile, Muslim League Functional leader Ghaus Bakhsh Mehar said Rana Tanvir is getting excited over Imran’s marriage as if he wants to marry again too.
NA Speaker said Rana Tanvir can do second marriage if he wants to.
Separately, ex-MNA Javed Hashmi told reporters in Multan that he is more committed to Pakistan than his wife.
He said there is no hurdle in Imran Khan’s wedding as our religion allows it but it would have been better if he had waited till ‘chehlum’ of Peshawar school attack victims.
Hashmi hinted that he may visit Bani Gala to congratulate Khan.
