One more infant dies at Sargodha DHQ Hospital
The death toll has been escalated to 53 in 81 days.
SARGODHA (Dunya News) – Lack of health facilities at Sargodha District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) has continued to take lives of infants as one more infant lost his life today (Tuesday). The death toll has been mounted to 53 in 81 days, Dunya News reported.
As per details, the deceased infant has been identified as Muhammad Usman who was admitted to DHQ hospital on January 3.
The hospital administration stated that the death was caused due to premature delivery and low birth weight.
Earlier, at least two more infants at Sargodha Government District Hospital lost their lives today (Thursday) due to insufficient medicines .The death toll has been mounted to 86 in a time span of 47 days.
As per details, one-day old Manzoor and four-day old Umar Daraz were under treatment at Sargodha District Hospital but got died due to inadequate facilities and medicines.
Moreover, no machinery has been provided to the Sargodha victims despite high claims of the government.
