The Chief Justice (CJ) of Lahore High Court Khawja Muhammad Sharif has said that if the government can spend billions of rupees on Sasti Roti scheme then there is no harm in spending on the prosecutor department. A country could only flourish if justice would prevail in the land.CJ was addressing a gathering at Judicial Academy Lahore where he said that during the tenure of Pervaiz Elahi government the appointments were done on political basis however during the tenure of the current government all the appointments have been done merit through Public Service Commission. He added that a judge cannot fulfill his duty properly until he is not assisted appropriately.
