Thar famine claims three more lives, death toll escalates to 238
Poor Thar victims are longing for food, pure drinking water and medicines.
THARPARKAR (Dunya News) – At least three more children lost their lives on Thursday due to famine in Thar. The death toll has been mounted to 238 in 85 days, Dunya News reported.
As per details, one child died in Para Village Colony due to the dearth of food whereas the thar famine has also claimed lives of one and half year old Abid and 20 days old Amina who were under treatment at Mithi Hospital.
Further, three children in critical condition have been shifted to Civil Hospital, Mithi from Hyderabad.
Moreover, poor victims of Thar villages are still waiting for food, pure drinking water and medicines.
