CM Punjab takes notice of Bao Anwar murder

MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned killing of Bao Anwar.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday has taken a notice of suspicious murder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) district Vice President Bao Muhammad Anwar in Sialkot.

According to details, CM Punjab has ordered District Police Officer (DPO) Sialkot to submit the report as soon as possible. He further directed to arrest the culprits for interrogation.

Moreover, police sources stated that the investigation is underway.

Earlier, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) district Vice President Bao Muhammad Anwar killed in Sialkot.

As per details, Bao Anwar was standing outside a restaurant along with his son and brother when unidentified armed men opened fire, killing him on the spot.

Meanwhile, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned killing of Bao Anwar and demanded Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar to apprehend the assailants.
