THAR (Dunya News) – Death toll attributed to famine mounted to 163 in 63 days as another child died on Wednesday.
A 40-year old expectant mother lost her life due to malnutrition whereas insufficient facilities have added to the malady.
Dearth-struck residents of Thar have no adequate access to medicines while thorough distribution of wheat aid has not been made possible.
Administration on the other hand could not fulfill its tall claims of constant assistance whereas the locals remain devoid of clean water.
Affected people of Thar demanded medicines and other facilities to be readily made available.
