Whatever is happening in Islamabad is disgrace in name of 'sit-in', says Wali

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Awami National Party (ANP) leader Asfandyar Wali Khan on Friday has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan would not be allowed to run away from his promises that he made to the public.

Wali expressed these views while addressing the workers convention in Peshawar.

While commenting on the sit-ins, he said that what work would the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Chief Minister (CM) do in the morning after dancing all night in the sit-ins.

He said that they would neither let Khan run away nor become a political martyr and that he would have to fulfil the promises made to the public.

He said that whatever is happening in Islamabad is disgrace to sit-in as nothing happens there during the day while at night the view starts to glow due to the public.

He asked whether Khan’s dance while standing on the container is termed as ‘change’?

He made a sarcastic comment that the workers convention was having more participants than the sit-ins.

Wali further said that Pakistan and Afghanistan are tied together as neighbours and that terrorism cannot end in the region until both the countries decide together.
