Flood affectees protest for not getting 2nd financial assistance installment

Affectees have demanded of the government for an additional allowance for their houses

MULTAN (Dunya News): The flood affectees burnt tyres and protested for three hours on Muzaffargarh Road for not getting the second installment of the financial assistance.
The affectees chanted ‘Go Nawaz Go’ and protested against the government because they were facing problems regarding building their houses as the district administration has turned a blind eye towards them. The change of weather has increased problems of the affectees as children were falling prey to various diseases.
The district administration has said that second installment of Rs 25,000, as issued in the first installment, have been given to the affectees so that they could build their houses. The flood affectees have demanded of the government for a separate allowance for their houses, in addition to the financial assistance.
