5 civilians killed as result of Indian aggression on LoC

Citizens of nearby areas have started evacuating at least 20 villages out of the fear.

SIALKOT (Dunya News) – At least five civilians were killed and several others injured on Tuesday as Indian army violated the ceasefire yet again and opened fire at Charwa sector Sialkot, near the Line of Control (LoC), Dunya News reported.

Pakistan has registered its protest to the United Nation’s (UN) military observer group, inviting the observers to visit the affected areas. United States of America also expressed its concerns over the incident.

According to the details, citizens of nearby areas have started evacuating at least 20 villages out of the fear.

Indian firing did not restrict to the working boundary only. The attack has begun violating the Line of Control (LoC) as well.

Reportedly, sophisticated weapons including machine guns were used to target civilian settlements at Kotli, Battal, Goi and Tutta Pani areas of Nakial Sector.

Pakistan’s advisor to Prime Minister Sartaj Aziz said that Pakistan is acting with utter patience over the firing from the Indian side.

Expressing concerns over the ceasefire violations by India, US said that its policy regarding the Kashmir dispute hasn’t changed. It said that Kashmir dispute can only be resolved through negotiations.
