OGRA proposes Rs3 cut in petroleum products' prices

OGRA has forwarded a summary to the government to reduce POL prices.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Oil consumers are likely to get a minor relief at the start of next month as the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has suggested a reduction of up to Rs3 per litre in prices of petroleum products, Dunya News reported on Monday.
In a summary forwarded to the Ministry of Petroleum, OGRA has recommended to slash petrol price by Rs2.60 per litre, high speed diesel 77 paisas, kerosene oil Rs1.76, high octane Rs1.53 and light diesel Rs1.53.
New prices of petroleum products will be applicable from October 1 after the government s approval.
