KARACHI (Dunya News/Web Desk) – Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) top leadership has decided that they will not let any conspiracy theory derail democracy at any cost.
PPP chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari led the session, and ministers from Sindh, Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Qaim Ali Shah and other state ministers attended the conference.
The session focused upon the current political crisis caused by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s (PAT) ‘dharnas’ and the demands put forward by them. The meeting also discussed the possibility of reaching a political solution to the current political crisis.
On this occasion, Zardari stressed that the solution lies in democracy and state cannot curtail the crisis through using overt force. He added that the government and other political parties should resolve the problem through dialogue, as democracy is not to be derailed in any circumstances.
PPP chair stressed that PPP will not accept any unconstitutional means against the government, adding that they will safeguard the constitution and democracy at all costs. He also said that the dialogue process should be taken seriously and if it is not taken seriously now then it will damage Pakistan in the future.
