LPG price increased by Rs 10 per kg

LPG Association has convened an emergency meeting on July 9 to discuss the issue.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The marketing companies on Sunday increased the price of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs 10 per kilogram with immediate effect.

According to All Pakistan LPG Distributors Association Chairman Irfan Khokar, the price of domestic cylinder has been increased by Rs 120 and commercial cylinder Rs 150.

The new price of LPG in Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujraat, Faislabad, Sialkot, Hydrabad and Sheikhopura would be Rs. 110 per kg.

New price of LPG in Mirpur, Multan, Bhawalpur, DG Khan, Peshawar, Kohat and Bannu would be Rs 115 per kg and Rs 140 per kg in Muree, Muzafrabad and FATA.

Meanwhile, the new price of LPG in Karachi would be Rs 100 per kg while it would be sold at 130 per kg in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

On the other hand, LPG Association has convened a meeting on July 9 to discuss the issue. The association said that the marketing companies ignored directions of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and increased prices.

 It has threatened to announce further strategy of protest on July 9 if the increase in the prices of LPG.
